Division 1 No matches

Division 2
The two matches played on Monday featured the promoted teams from last season, Hesketh B and Kirkham Charter A, and ended In heavy defeats to leave both teams at the foot of the table.
Last season's Division 3 champions Hesketh B met Pilling B and when the first men's and ladies were both split for a 2-2 score, a close match was anticipated. However, the next 4 ladies and 4 men's all went to Pilling for a 10-2 lead. Showing no mercy, Pilling then won the mixed 12-0 for a final 22-2 victory. The one sided score though doesn't reflect that most of the games were very close and hard fought and included 2 settings. Elizabeth Harrison and Tim Shipway won 8 for the home team.

Last season's Division 3 runners up Kirkham Charter fared slightly better at home to Fleetwood. They actually won the first ladies and split the first men's to lead 3-1. However Fleetwood rallied to win 3 of the next 4 ladies together with all the other 4 men's for a 8-4 lead. The mixed ended in Fleetwood's favour by an impressive 11-1 for a final result of 19-5 to the visitors. Again there were some close games and the match included 4 settings. Amelia Parker won an excellent 3 games for Kirkham. 4 players from Fleetwood won 7 including Ant Cross who, despite losing the last game on setting, was statistically the best player on the night.

Levels
Reigning champions Warton A continue their great start with their second win of the season this time against Stanley. Apart from the 1 game they lost, there was only 1 other game where Warton conceded more than 15 points. Nathan Bunting and Jeremy Cara won all their 8 games.
Fleetwood won 12-4 to maintain their 100% start at the top of the table. They were too strong for a new Bloomfield team who, despite a heavy defeat, put up a strong fight. Phil Hough was involved in all of Bloomfield's wins but Ant Cross was again POTM as he was the only player to win all 8 games.
Warton B had a comfortable 13-3 win in their away fixture to Broughton. Swati Sonwalker and Lisa Vickers won 2 games for Broughton but Giles Uppard was POTM for winning all 8.
