Formed in 1947 with the purpose of managing and administering competitive badminton in the area, the B & D B A is an Association of 16 Clubs in and around Blackpool.
The Association offers:

- League - 5 divisions of 9 teams each. Mid-September to end February
- Trophy competitions - March & April
- Tournaments - for juniors & adults
- Coaching - for juniors & adults
- Coach education & development
- Representative teams in Lancashire Inter-League Competition.

Welcome All to to the new season, Check out the forum for the latest news, views and gossip.
The new league formation is now online, along with the new fixtures.

Some of you will already know that i no longer play in Blackpool. The time has finally come for me to hand over the reins to a new person. Somebody more involved, and with far more spare time to do the website justice. As such, this is the last season for me looking after the website. It's been a brilliant 7 years since i first built the site.
